Bible Study: October 4, 2011

Mark 10:27
27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
When we put all of our faith in God, He will help us
through life's problems, and bless us as well!

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Now when we have faith in God it pleases Him
and we become filled with true peace.

Philippians 4:7

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
After all what is the opposite of faith, but worry itself!!
So do not let doubt enter your mind, for after all, God has
said in Jeremiah 32:27

Jeremiah 32:27

27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
It is also written that:

Proverbs 16:7

7 When a man’s ways please the LORD,
He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

So our prayer for you is:

Colossians 1:10

10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
God is not going to waste anything He can use! Before he was Paul, Saul had tremendous credentials, which he used against the church. Once Paul was committed to Christ, God was able to use Paul´s gifts to advance His kingdom. When God needed a strong leader in the early church, when God needed a man to write down the theology for His church, when God needed a man to stand up to Caesar yet talk straight to ordinary, hurting people . . . He used Paul.
How can God use your life? Even before you were saved, God already knew all your traits. God wants to sanctify the things that are already part of you so He can use them to advance His Kingdom.
Are you in a situation right now wondering how to turn it around for good? God is preparing you, positioning you and enabling you to do what He knows you can do most effectively.

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
